Members' notes...
A dense round shrub which has a tendency to produce large numbers of basal stems that forms arching branches. It bears both flowers (white)and berries bluish-black.
August 4, 2008
Planted two viburnums in front yard and two in the back in April 2008. As of July 2008, the two in back are in sad shape not responding to treatment. The two in the front are still hanging in.
I think in back the ants are a problem. I found lots of viburnum leaves around the entry points to several ant hills.
