A T&M variety with large heads in red and orange. I always grow marigolds for bedding as they have such a long flowering period.

Purchased and planted in west front flowerbed September 2006. Very prolific, goes anyway the wind takes it, digs in and grows!! They have a long flowering period. This variety grows to only 8-16 inches. The scent is strong and somewhat unpleasant, and is effective in repelling many garden pests. French marigolds are often multicolored in shades of orange, yellow, mahogany and crimson. Suitable for mass plantings or pots. They are attractive as cut flowers if the scent isn't a problem. Change the water in the vase frequently.
