It would appear so - I can't remember how long it took in Kent - we were there 34 years - but this is its third winter and it has only grown about 6 - 8"

~I love things that defy the weather and put on a show when all around things are dying back`~like the winter flowering honeysuckle and the hellebores and snowdrops !
I will see where I can get one~is it slow growing?

It flowers right through the winter into spring, Arlene. I wouldn't be without one. I had one in Kent and it was a joy in the winter.

This was my absolute favourite back in Kent, so I planted one here last year - it has flowers on it, even though its only a baby!
