In Andrewr's garden

I grow 'Diabolo' (with really dark purple foliage) and 'Dart's Gold'. Both have grown much more than usual in this year's wet summer. Most years, Diabolo self sows but Dart's Gold doesn't; this year it was the other way round

I planted 2 in 2006, a red one and a yellow one. The red one has grown much faster.

Purchased 9th february Owl lane nursery.
Golden foliage shrub with flowers June July, deciduous.
Will plant front garden in front of Ceanothus, hopefully will look good against the dark foliage and blue flowers, they, hopefully, will flower at the same time.
