This is my first year growing these lovely plants. Can anyone give me some tips on best way to deadhead them? Should I wait until all the blooms on a stalk are spent?

thanks its not big a the moment Jac, about a foot but it does get quite large, height approx 3-4ft spread indefinate - but really don't mind how thugish it is as i really love it, i had a yellow one in my last garden and it did go mad, it suckers everywhere but quite easy to pull any shoots you don't want out.

Unless it offends your eye I would not bother to deadhead them.
