I had to have this. My home town is Exmouth in Devon where magnolias were first grown in the UK. There is a clone of magnolia grandiflora named 'Exmouth' - it takes pride of place in the middle of the back garden.
Over 20 years old now, it has reached 15 feet or so and flowers every year

In Gillwahid's garden
we would like some information on its food and care. It is flowering for the 1st time and it is in a patio pot. It is in buds yet but we will send photo of the flower when it opens up.
