Oh, yes please, if it's not too much trouble. I've taken cuttings from mine before and they seem to root quite easily. Never looked for seed on them...

all ready on it, sid, i took some cuttings of this one and the other purple shrub that you like yesterday, i'll load on some pic's in a mo, think i have done them right. used root powder and everything! lol and they are now sitting in my greenhouse, although its unheated it does get very warm and humid, but not in too much direct sun! so the conditions should be perfect in there for rooting cuttings, - do you used plastic bags on stem cuttings? i never have, but have seen it done like this on Gardeners World, was wondering if it is more successful?

have moved it into the front garden - next to the gate on the end by the peach rhodo which was brought from the flat.
bought from t&m oct 07 potted on and put in the greenhouse.
1st nov 07 - i have lost 2 out of the five in the greenhouse - just not that good on arrival - got money back, but this one has been put into the front garden to take its chances as the soil was a bit wet in the pot - don't think rock roses like it. it will get plenty of sun even this time of year, and i think i remeber reading that they like acidic soil and its in with all my rhodos - makes life easier!
* inbetween azaliea and pink rhododendron against left hand fence.
