outstanding cround cover forming low hammocks of deep green leaves studded with striking flowers in summer. easy to grow, they thrive in any sunny site with well drained soil. quite drought tolerant once established.

flowers May-August 25cm high x 30cm spread.

bought from woolies in bogof deal mid april 2008 - i hve planted in a pot on the patio for now, i am really hoping that it is the small compact low growing vareity that i have seen growning, as it would be perfect to fill the gap which will be made at the front of the woodland area when i dig out 2 dead grasses! there are 5 planted but the two front ones are looking very sad, i want to take them out and if this is not to much of a thug - like some of them can be i will stick it in the space! so thought i would see what it does in a pot for a while first.
