This is a lovely Geranium. It is called Geranium pratense ' Splish Splash'. No two flowers are ever the same.

The RHS send out a small sheet with their monthly magazine, and I got this from them. I bought three other hardy Geraniums last month and they arrived in a really bad way - so they've sent me another pack. I hope they take OK. One is called 'Sweet Heidi' and one is 'Starman' - can't remember the other. They are in the greenhouse at the moment.

Members' notes...
I have several varieties including 'Geranium Sanguineum' (both pink and magenta) and 'clarkei' as well as 'Ann Folkard' and 'Beth Chatto'.
Blue white flowers which look like they are white splashed with blue paint, bought from vals unusual plants spring 2007, planted at the base of blue lilac and moc orange left hand side of the patio.

Recent introduction with flowers above a mat-forming mound of grey-green foliage. A good, strong grower. Named in memory of Aad Zoet.
Position: sunny or light shaded
Exposure: hardy
Flowers: June - Sept
Colour: dark pink/deep pinkish red flowers, red veins & dark centre
Shape: saucer
Height: 10 - 15 cm
Spread: 30cm
June-September flowering. The saucer-shaped, deep pink-red flowers held over grey-green leaves. A good mat-forming plant. Wiull grow in sun or semi-shade in most garden soils. 15 x 30cm (6" x 12")
