i have been waiting for this to flower for what seems like ever, i planted 10 of them last year but this is the only one that has flowered - still it is pretty is'nt it!

to be honest i don't think is really a violet at all, its just the name! they are quite fussy to conditions they are a woodland plant so like some shade, and they don't like being moved or disturbed. out of 10 that i planted in the autumn, only 6 have come up and out of the 6 only one has flowered. but worth trying.
