WOW - they are beautiful Andrew!
I bought some Colchicum bulbs and I put each of them in individual pots because I cannot decide where to put them yet I don't know how deep they have to be and I don't know if to deadhead the flowers or not, can you tell me what you do with them please?

Specialist bulb merchants, such as Jacques Amand, list it in their catalogues. Good Garden Centres, eg Notcutts or Hilliers, may be able to get it for you as well

Members' notes...
I accidentally put a spade through the bulb this spring but now I appear to have several plants instead of one!

I plant about four inches deep. I don't bother to deadhead, just let all the top growth die off over winter. The leaves appear in spring and then die off - they can look pretty grim at this time so I remove them when they're about 50%rotten
