'Prune'
Prune in late winter
What a charmer! 'Heavenly Blue' was here already, and I've added a different one, slightly softer colour with greyish leaves - I think it's 'Kew Blue'
Prune it hard (like a buddleia) and it makes neat regrowth and is flowering well in September
bought 2 off these off ebay summer 2007 they arrived covered in leaf miner - not happy - did get a refund tho and after much spraying and leaf picking they are both doing quite well! both are planted along right hand wall, one in bed infront of green house and one the other end near the patio!
aromatic deciduous shrub - fully hardy/frost hardy
well drained soil in full sun
lime green/yellow toothed leaves with lavender blue flowers
*prone to capsid bugs cause leaf distortion!

Definitely one of my favourite shrubs, both for the colour and also the time of year they flower. I have 'Heavenly Blue', a deeper blue one with greyer leaves (x 2!) and a new one this year with no name but even darker flowers.
