maple

This butterfly bush is a semi-evergreen plant growing up to 6m. It has dark green long oval leaves that are downy on their underside. The flowers show as dense balls of orange-yellow, on the end of long stalks in late spring and early summer. They are scented with a honey fragrance and are much favoured by bees.
