planted in front garden autumn 07

bought some seeds from T & M - i buy them every year for winter interest so i thought i would save some dough and try to grow them from seed now that i have the green house!

sowing time June to September, sow in pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite, do not exclude ligh as this helps germination. keep surface of the soil moist but not wet. germination will usually take 7-21 days. when large enought ot handle transplant seedlings into 3" pots. gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out in october.

will flower through the winter in well drained soil in full sun or part shade.
