Your silvermound looks wonderful... the birds really like this plant...at least in my garden, they do. lol. I noticed bits and pieces laying around and thought that a rodent or the rabbits had been mussing it... later observed a sparrow flying off to her nest with a beakful!!

Did you trim it to look like this?. The chippings do show it up well

No I did not trim this plant. It actually grows in this tidy round mound. It gets fuller when the blossoms come out. I will take another photo when I get a moment.

This is another plant that grows in a neat tidy mound. It looks great with lavender as well.
