Double Wow. this is amazing. What on earth has it been crossed with?or is this another mutation? Any history on this? terrific photo.

Members' notes...
Most of the Aquilegia in the garden are self seeded - only this year bought some named varieties. They have even started to pop up in the cracks between the block paving.
Growing from seed: 'Magpie' and an unknown dark flowered one that may be 'Nora Barlow'.
