An early spring wildflower, dainty and cute. It's in the Buttercup family and is native to Ohio. It is not a true anemone. Flowers lack nectar. It grows in wet, deciduous woods and is about 3-4" tall. They usually grow in groups, carpeting the forest floor.
Same as Rue Anemone only this plant has double petals. It's the only double I've ever found, and this one just happenes to be in my yard.
A tiny flower with a long name!
