I have had to cut the Ivy so it fits in so I expect some of it will go brown for a while..but I thought i was quite a nice new feature..and cost me nothing!!!!! :)

To get the full view I had to be in it! lol

Thanks Jane :)) I dont like to pay for anything unless really necessary! lol Hope you got that farmer sorted out!

11 Jul, 2012

Hi Pixie. Nope he never came round. it's going to be a major confrontation ie WW3 or he gets away with it. Trouble is, a major fall out has lots of knock on consequences. Is it worth it? There is a breed of Yorkshire farmer, that are absolute sh**s. He is one of them. :-(

11 Jul, 2012

Well I;d skelp the sh**s arse!!!!!!! shocking if he gets away with that..i would fight to the death!

11 Jul, 2012

Yes but Pixie, he is one of the biggest farmers round here, his land backs on to ours and he can see what we're up to if he wants to make life difficult. You know burying the odd dead sheep etc, which is illegal - not that we do that of course. Following regulations to the letter etc etc. Also he is on the Parish council and we currently have planning in...........................it goes on. So before we do fall out big style, we have to think carefully about the consequences. I can't tell you how annoyed we are. He is a miserable old bu****r and I'd like to pinch the wheels off his tractor, but.................. Grrrrr. Jx

11 Jul, 2012

Well do it in the night! lol WHat a shame..it is a difficult situation..have you tried jsut chatting to him about it..maybe suggest you erect a new fence and both pay cost? Or is he that unreasonable? Deary me. x

11 Jul, 2012

He said he'd have a word wi 'im. Soooo I expect at some point he might. He won't pay for 'owt though. We will have to re fence the field soon, as we will need to put sheep in it. I do sometimes wonder why we bother farming at all. Sometimes Pixie it is wiser to walk away, but really, I'd like to knock his teeth down his throat. We know perfectly well what he'll say. 'Well you wouldn't have got any hay due to the weather and fence was knackered anyway' which it wasn't really. Grrrrr some more and gnashing of teeth. jx

As they say in Shetland..
Ony mair o it
an a'll gie thee sic a lunderin unner yer lugs
That yer yakleplats'll be snapperin at yer erse!
Teeth are involved!

Personally I couldnt walk away :)
