WEll this morning when I went out to feed the birds and fish, I heard a wee rustle in amongst the Foxgloves gfowing at the back door. Then I spied the wee fledgling hiding in amongst it. I was worried if I let SUki out she would chase it and kill it so I picked it up and put it on the table and put some crumbs down. It didnt take but then flew into the Ivy fence. I didnt see it for a while, then noticed it down at the bottom where the Mother was feeding it! I was so glad. SHe went down a few times then back to her other brood in the nesting box. I took that chance to go and take another few pics. There were also Magpies sitting in my neighbour’s roof in wait. So all morning I have been watching out for the poor wee thing.
I let SUki out into the front garden, tho she could still go through all the neighbours gardens and jump the fences to get back here. I hope the poor little thing survives. Havent seen it for about half an hour now.
Just updating blog. Caught another fledgling peeking out of the nesting box. Not seen the other one again, dont know where it is. Also some shots of the Parent getting anxious as I was taking pics! Came inside again dont want to disturb them!

Brilliant photos. I was never able to get this near any of our babies. I can believe the parents made that many visits feeding the babies and to think they do it all again.
