As you know my Dad isnt too well. THere is a guy who goes to visit him regularly who is a Jujitsu instructor aswell as a trained Osteopath. He fixes Dads bits and pieces whenever he needs it and just visits him to chat. He does all this without payment. Lovely guy.
So I suggested to Dad that I paint some Japanese-ish landscape for him to thank him for all he does.
and here it is done now I think. Not sure it looks all that Japanese but hopefully you get the idea. lol
We are going to get hima bonsai tree too..well see what they cost lol..maybe a grow your own one or something.

im sure he will love it pixi, great painting, a grow ya own bonsai may take a good few years to grow, depends how old the man is lol, when you think how long a tree takes, its the same only kept small. :o)

How about a nice fern, I love them. They are not particulary Japanesie but the lush green is always a good choice for a calm garden.

Pixi I looked online and most ferns ie. Athyrium, asplenium & dryopteris are around £6.99 each. :~)
