Thought I’d let you see how the pond was started, the first attempt, then the final one after the first one leaked!
I have 4 orfs in it which have survived all this time! I am amazed at that!

Oh and btw the urn I got from a charity shop for 50p!
The hose from the pump at the bottom pond comes up under the rockery and the water is pumped out of the urn.

Our Caspar drinks out of the tap Sticki, he headbutts it until one of us turns it on, all of them drink from our ponds and the water features as well....

Minty hasnt head butted it yet ~ to my knowledge ~ but she stands there waiting!!

Thanks! Hopefully will get even better this year!

A lot of effort has gone into developing your pond and it does look quite at home alongside your patio and rockery. Definitely worth tinkering with to get it how you want it, Pixi.

I love cats too and only recently we got another cat after being without one for some years. So glad we did...her name is Lucy (a rescue cat from Cats' Protection League). She loves the garden too. Great companions.
