Very pretty, but where's the goat?

Beautiful, ordered one yesterday BB from Crocus. :-) Thought it would be nice by the pond. Are they easy to look after?

Yes Dawn...they look after themselves.Ours is behind the fountain near the pond !

I had one a few years ago and it died :-( I think it was too wet for it - set in heavy clay by the pond - do you think the ground wasnt free draining enough for it? I've seen some fantastic ones this week - in other people's gardens, they are very impressive when established, arent they.

Yes Dawn,it probably dried out too quickly.Ours is only a year old and has established itself really quickly.The bees love it too !!

Pleased to hear the bees like it. When I get my new plant I'll make sure I set it in some nice compost.

Looks great. Mine has gotten very big, in only it's second year. Do they require dividing?

Hi Newfie....not unless its too big for where you want it.Think as they get taller they add more impact.Ours only in its first year and have allowed it lots of room to spread behind the fountain !

Ours is doing so well by the pond Spritz...and the bees love it too !

I don't see this plant unless I'm working in that area. I'll have to go and take a special look. I do believe you, I just haven't seen the bees!
