The boundary fence on one side of the garden is covered in ivy and four different species of Clematis have been planted to give colour from mid spring to late autumn.

This variety is Clematis Jackmanii superba

I have this one Grenville but it often gets Clematis droop. It's the only one I have that does this.

Hi Mike.
Ive been told that if the plant develops Clematis droop its best to give it a really hard prune, and this can sometimes help to shock it back into action. Another alternative is to bury the clematis at a deeper level than when it was growing in a pot.Perhaps a thick mulch of compost around the base of the plant might also help.They do like to have their roots in moist shade, but do not like to be waterlogged. Hope this helps.
