Yes Fourseasons, they are Gladioli 'Blue Isle'.

So "Blue Isle" really should be blue! I bought some cheap last year and they turned out a real purple colour. Was I disappointed!

I have to say David that once again my camera is a bit misleading when it comes to photographing blues/purples - I think they were closer to purple in reality.
