Peacock at Groombridge Place 10 /5 /09 There were a few crumbs on this table and a Sparrow had landed on the table right next to me but I didn't have the camera ready. So, I retreated and waited with camera but it was the Peacock who approaced and jumped up onto the seat of the picnic bench.

Yes, they were spectacular Arlene. I also got a shot of one with tail fully open. Quite a sight!

lol beautiful Birds nice shot, reminds me of going to Lands End my son bought me a tiddy ogin Pasty as you would know it, I was sitting at a table bench like this with my back on to the table as I went to turn around to get my pasty a gull snatched it I shot up quick and grabed at my pasty, and was tug o warring with the gull I won of course lol my son said its the only thing that dare to argue with me and even then that lost lol
