I've made toad houses out of broken flower pots...Have a pond which the toads and frogs have enjoyed...the fish too, enjoyed their eggs. But put my flowerpot toadhouse at the bottom of the garden. Had a number of them even little guys, I think they came into my garden from the field beside us.
