The forecast tonight for the Midlands is -4C so we raced round at 7pm inverting dustbins over the pieris and shrouding the camellias with fleece!

Lovely camellias. It is -2 for us in the Highlands put heaters on in the greenhouse. Fleece still on tree ferns.

It is -2 in Herts but this time I couldnt do anything since I have got sore throat.Hope everything is ok in my back garden... I am still waiting for the camellia`s flowers to open here!

B lourenco - hope you get over your sore throat quickly - and a belated welcome to GOY!
In fact, there was only a light frost here so the dilemma is whether to take all the protection off today when we're told there's another frost tonight. The balance is tipped to taking the covers off and enjoying the flowers now!
