I'm sorry to say I no longer have this rose Chrispook. It was removed to make way for something else, but it wasn't destroyed as I gave to a friend. I do have three new climbers and two new floribunda's. Two of the climbers and one of the floribundas are supposed to have highly scented flowers.
Thanks for your nice comments Deida and Chrispook..

Lovely photo of your ex roses. Great someone else loves the bush now too.Oh Gilli you make me laugh. My hubby loves the looks of roses in a vase in the house, but he hates the bushes, as you can hurt yourself on them. He is the one who prunes them all and he wished I didn't have any.

Thanks Marguerite. I must admit to being a bit like your hubby. I am not keen on the bushes but it's the look of them that turn me off.

Toto,I hope that what you planted instead of the rose was worth it as that rose is magnificent.

Thats funny my hubby isn't too keen on roses either, but he is at last come round to my way of thinking and has now let me have more of them, epsecially the heavily scented ones, but at least he does do the pruning for me...

It's the heavily scented ones that I prefer. I have now replaced the rose with another although not the same variety, it is similar and is supposed to have a better scent. Shall need to wait and see.
Thanks for your comment.
