The flight is still on the scheduled list for this evening, so I'm hoping.... She's 82, so any delay could be very tiring for her. Thanks for your concern!

Yes, if there are delays, she needs somewhere to rest and keep warm.

Looks like the plane has taken off, with her on board. Now she can rest - she travels business class for that reason. Can't imagine me making a long journey like that at her age, but she still swims in the ocean every day she can, and has a garden you could only dream about... Obviously I didn't inherit those genes!!

She sounds wonderful.
I heard on the news that priority was being given to the long-haul flights, so I thought maybe she would be up and away.
Maybe we'll get to see photos of her garden some time, please.

My Mum arrived safely, thanks for all your good wishes! I bet she can't wait to go swimming now! I'll be preparing a blog soon with photos of her Cornish garden. I think she'd like you all to see it.
