Hello :o)
You could get a few more pots on those steps.

Go ahead !
If you try REALLY hard, you can fit in a few more plants ! :o)

I love seeing different views of your greenhouse Greenthumb....

If the plants needed more room, Greenthumb would put them on the steps, and then fix up a rope, and use that so that he could climb upstairs. :o)

Good workout too....lol. The steps are just under the light, so I change the plant here out often, to keep in size. I've debated on trying to grow wisteria up the rail. I'm thinking I can get away with it, just a little more sweeping.....lol.

Thanks for the comments. I'd already posted when I realized there was a bunch of my little house nestled behind the plants I was focusing on. lol :-)

~i'm surprised you can get up there as it is GT?!!~
~I love all your wood!
My husband put flooring down in our loft and completely pine covered the ceiling and walls for my daughter to have more space as a teenager~she still has her tv sofabeds, bookcases and loads of her stuff up there and they do stay up there occasionally~it's like the inside of an ark!
No flowers or plants though as there are no windows~I regret that we didn't put a skylight in the roof. You can't beat natural light but she has banks of halogen lights set into the wood ceiling that you can adjust how much or how little you put on.
I have amaryllis starting to grow again now after flowering fairly recently~no matter what time they flower thay are gorgeous!
Can't wait to see the wisteria!!!!

Thoughtfull and consciencious walking, as well as a practice in balance and equalibrium. lol.

Arlene, the cabin log and tongue and groove work is nice but overwhelming. The walls are unfinished so they have splinters and catch dust, and the other woodwork keeps everything looking very orange! I've gotten accustomed to using bright colors, my choice is blue, to offset the strong wood color. The flooring is a bleached white wood finish that keeps the place from being too dark and the gabled ceiling is drywalled and painted white. I'd smother in too much of this dark color in winter. I do like that I can build all my furniture and such in raw pine and it looks right at home.

I'm waiting for spring to order some wisteria. I think it'll do grand.

~when my husband did our loft the wood was new and very pale and because there is no light up there it hasn't darkened much and it has all been lacquered. When all the lights go on it can be quite bright!
The floor sounds nice and will brighten up the place.
It all sounds very colourful and cheery!
Have you got room for any more plants?

Definitely room for a climbing plant along the stair rail :o)

I just need a bed and a path through the kitchen Arlene.....lol. Wait until I start seeds and such going for summer. I have to fill this place from march until planting day, last weekend of May! I plan to build a little greenhouse this year so things can be out by end of april. Now that is a house full. I had to hop spot to spot last year......lol.

Good idea sealing thtat wood. This place was sealed only on the outside. I think they just never finished inside......landlord is good at 'leaving something to be done'. :-)

~with that sense of balance I think they will have you doing high beam gymnastics in the Oympics~with or without wellies GT!
When will you get to do your greenhouse?Sounds like a good idea!

lol.....I should post my wool insulated boots, the cold weather wellie....lol. I think I'll be able to build the greenhouse last week of April. Thats usually when the ground starts showing but the grass hasn't sprouted, so I'll have a clean slate. There are a lot of home refits right now and people are leaving their old windows whole at the reuse stations, I'll be collecting those til then. Glass walls for no cost! It will give me almost two months longer outside. And a safe haven for the tender ones..... :-)

GT~ my father did this and in the end he had a huge greenhouse from one side of the garden to the other and backed on to a thick hedge for protection against wind etc
.It is a really good idea!Recycling~environmentally friendly!
He had two huge grape vines which were covered with fruit!
Good luck with the project~ I hope you can get what you need!
