Its amazing. The relatively mild and very wet winter so far has meant that a Digitalis was still flowering in our garden from last season 2007. I eventually trimmed off the last flower in February 2008.This photograph was taken May 2007. At the time of writing this we also spotted a Hosta in our garden that has sent up three buds in February 2008!!

Hi Jacque,
Thanks for your kind comment. The foxgloves should look fantastic as well as doing a good job of attracting bees and insects. They should self seed as well and really thrive in a shaded area.
Good luck with the project and happy gardening,
Grenville.
See who else is growing Digitalis purpurea - Cream coloured Hybrid.
See who else has plants in genus Digitalis.
