Haven't had rain for a few weeks - just good old frost. I prefer this to snow.

Yes, David...If I had my druthers I'd gladly endure a few frostings...lol. it is terribly cold here today...put out seeds for the songbirds and crows...(the crows and the squirrels go for the peanuts and sunflower seed...the little sparrows seem to be glad of what they can get!!) The snow I so despise is a blessing really because it insulates the perennials and shrubs from the worst of winter's drying/killing winds. That is a lovely moist looking scene!
