I just couldn't survive with so little natural light, Greenthumb. I find it bad enough now it's getting dark about 4.30.

Thanks for the comments. The lack of light I find harder for people to manage than the cold. Sure is amazing colors all day though. :-)

Gorgeous, do you do any outside activities during this time, or just too cold.
What do people do, I guess a lot of socializing to get through Winter months. Enjoy & a Merry one.

We are into potlucks to get together. I'm a cross-country skier any temp down to -10 and that is a favorite past time. Much dog mushing and snowmachining though niether of them is for me. We don't all just hole up unless its real cold -20 and below. After that, any temp is a picnic. We'll be snow shovelling in shorts come february.

Gorgeous, but I wouldn't make it in Alaska either...the sun is setting in Houston now around 5:00pm, by 5:30 it's almost pitch black. That's bad enough!

Good thing you have daylight indoors with your plants while it's constant sunset outside! Gorgeous pic!

That is something I do not know if I could take. Usually, I am game for most things, but to have a perpetual sunrise or sunset? Don't know.

I do hope you post some Aurora shots. That I could take!.

I continue to watch. My camera hasn't shown much ability to catch a regular show, It'll have to be a real bright one I think. I'm determined to get some on.

Thanks Panther. And that wasn't even when it was real dark. Just 7 more days to go and it starts getting lighter.
