Chenille in a basket

This is my cat Chenille (a pastel calico - long haired cat) I rescued her from the humane society. Because she was a feral cat, she was scheduled to be euthanized. I had to beg everyone up to the director to let me have her. It took me two years to win her over but now she will even come out when other people are around. About the Pix: Chenille found these beads in the basket and pounced on them and threw them around until she threw them out of the basket then she just curled up in the basket and went to sleep.

Thats a lovely story Skippy , we have a rescued cat as well , they make wonderful pets it,s almost as though they know that you have saved them :o)

What a beautiful Chenille. I got both of my cats from a rescue home, they were kept in an indoor cupboard, so now just adore to be out in the rain and come in drenched. Great for them, not so good fo my bedding!
