Wisteria Sinensis
This wisteria was the only plant in my garden when I moved in nearly 2 years ago. In February this year I cut it back to ground level. I intend to eventually retrain it to grow along the back and side walls of the house

It flowered for a couple of weeks last year. As I cut it back to the ground in February it obviously had no flowers on this year :0(
but, I already have 5 new stems, each at least 10 feet long so I am hoping the blooms return next spring.

I used to love seeing this flowering all over a bridge in Chertsey, wonderful sight.

It took a lot of nerve to cut this as severely as you did!! I've since seen the regrowth and it's terrific.
