Schizolobium parahybum - Brazilian Fern Tree

Schizolobium parahybum - Brazilian Fern Tree (Schizolobium parahybum)

This is a beautiful tree that has fern-like leave and yellow flower in late winter or spring. It can become a huge tree 120+ feet. It is grown in coastal areas of California up to the San Francisco Bay Area. It usually only grows to 60' in California though.

It died. I waited too long. It hated being kept in a pot.
