Forest track
The Jarrah forest on our doorstep, I walked there every day. This poor old tree succumbed to white ants and was lying acros the track. Soon people come with their chainsaws to get firewood from the good left over bits.

I was told that the same ants (apparently smelly too!) that attacked my pretty campanula cushion have been known to eat away and destroy almond and other fruit trees. I wouldn't believe her, but seeing this picture proves she was right.

What a lovely Forest all those trunks. I have one big specimen in the garden and have cut the top out three times and now it spreads out instead of up, The blue trunks fascinate me, I have a picture of the last lot I cut off. Will put itt on this site one day when I find it. and let you know when.
