Haha Popeymike. I don't really live there anymore. This is the SW of Australia and I now live in the NE, rather a contrast.

It actually was not all that pretty you know. Because all that area was once a thick Jarrah forest. And I have known it to be that way. Then they department just cleared the area to make way for pine plantations. I could have killed them! What you can see here, is Jarrah regrowth, as all the pines were harvested. And what a mess it made too. I walked there every day so I could follow demise and progress as it eventuated.

That's terrible Marguerite. Sometimes I don't think the authorities care what they do. They're the same here.

I often get the same kind of mist in the morning and you can almost guarantee that the day will turn into a scorcher - it's a criminal shame about the authorities making such a mess with the area and I can apprecaite your feelings Marguerite - it would break my heart if "they" were to suddenly change my little paradise.

Thank for your comment Terry. One consolation: soon it will be "back to normal" as they let it all grow back to nature. You can see the young trees arising already. And that was 4 years ago.
