Thank you Spritz we have all the things butterflies supposed to love but not always that welcome to gardeners ie bramble thistle nettles ivy etc. So my garden never be a show garden but very wildlife friendly have Brimstone butterflies visit the yellow button type buddhlea - correct name escapes me - so next project to get a pic.

That's a good photo. Some years ago so many pretty butterflies used to land on my ice plants that you couldn't see the sedum underneath. It was a beautiful sight. Let's hope butterflies come back in great numbers so we'll have that happening again.

Must be climate related as many of us try to provide habitats they enjoy.Our summers been so wet recently this cant be helping.

We usually get lots of butterflies, but so few this year. I haven't managed to get any photos, so thanks for this one, BB.
