Yes it is Janey. There is a pond behind all that Alchemilla.
The irises have finished flowering now. I took this picture in June or beginning of July I think.

Just planted some black iris that was on sale, hope it looks as good as yours! Funny, this is one of the few plants my kids were impressed by.

Such a distinctive plant... and that colour will stop conversation...wow! I've started an iris bed....looks like this is another prospect!! excellent photo too, it is difficult to photograph very dark or very light flowers.
