I found a spot where this is happy and gets enough shade in the summer. It never died back and is flowering earlier than it did last year.

I found it on eBay from someone who lives in Greece. She had this and C. gardenii on offer, and I chose this one.

NICE!. I have the common Clivia doing well if very slow underneath an old tall Howea I planted back in '93.
Species Clivia are hard to find. Congrats!
