We were sitting on the porch enjoying the afternoon when I noticed the orange flowers in the lot that is for sale next to ours. I went check it out and was delighted. I found this native amaryllis and many others that will bloom soon. I hope that next Wednesday I can photograph the others.

It is native in south Brasil, São Francisco de Paula, Rio Grande do Sul.
The ones I know grows from bulbs.
I'll wait until the flowers are gone to take it from the ground. But, I believe these are the same.
