I fought for these babies! army worms, flies and scab..
planting chives for the scab..and spraying soapy water for the worms and flies..plus pick and squish. Yuck. Very expensive apples. :-)))

We are finally getting some rain, Penny! I've been out running from garden to fruit trees checking them out. hope my stream will get enough moisture to run again. I miss the sound of water.

That's great Lori you are getting rain lets hope your stream fills up . Not a drop of rain here yet 5th August if it has nt rained by then a hose pipe ban here comes in to force on that day.

Wow! Sounds like a tremendous amount of work to get good apples. I'm sure it was worth it, though.
