Love the colour of this one.

Thanks Waddy, even we are surprised too as it's the most colourful it's ever been. It's a funny old year as the blossom on the hedgerows and trees is so abundant. The Hawthorn hedgerows are covered in white.

I think it might have something to do with all the rain we had earlier in the year, but don't the hedgerows look magnificent?

Yes they certainly do Waddy and the wildflowers along the hedgerows. We went for a walk along Dally Lane yesterday and saw a Hare. We've seen a few more Butterflies too. The wind is relentless at the moment and the South of the country have had bad thunderstorms. We've only had a sprinkle of rain and most of the day we've had sunshine.

It's pretty much the same here in Yorkshire. The wind drys out the baskets so quickly I have to be constantly watering. We had a bit of rain last Friday but nothing since. I never thought earlier in the year I'd be wanting it to rain!

We've had to water the new plants to keep them going and the birds have been using up the water in the bird dishes so we've been topping them up as well.
