ooooohhhh look i have a yellow one!
thought they were all pink, and then yesterday up popped this creamy yellow one, not sure which i like best, they both fit in nicely with the colour harmony in the woodland bed.

thanks Nadia, to be honest it is not strictly a woodland plant, i thrives best in sun, but will do semi shade, but a sheltered spot is good, i call this area in my garden the woodland bed because it is as the base of 3 trees, but because it is south east facing the front and side of it get quite a lot of sun, which opens the scope for what i can grow there. so the good new is you don't need a woodland garden to grow this plant! i got mine off ebay, have a look on there they are quite cheap to buy as bulbs.
What else?
This photo is of species tigridia canariensis.
See who else has plants in genus Tigridia.
This photo is of "Tiger Flower" in Majeekahead's garden
