Your welcome Dawn...

I thought it looked like a Eupatorium! I have a lovely variegated one with rose pink flowers and it is flowering just now, but it's absolutely pathetic. Only one stem. I think it's crowded, but now I've seen yours I shall go and investigate growing conditions etc. :)

New names. Why do they do that? I've seen Sedum referred to as hylotelephium recently. Part shade, moist, sheltered, probably that's why Karen, yours does sound nice though. On another note, did your Cornus controversa variegata take a long time to get going? Mine is so slow, thanks

Yes it Did Dawn. Have patience! As for the Eupatorium, I looked mine up and it said any situation and soil. But it also said waters edge so I bet mine is too dry. I shall move it to a damper spot....somewhere...maybe at the pond side.

Patience! Not that old chestnut lol. Thanks Karen. I remember years ago asking Annella the same question about her Choisya as mine were slow and they are getting big now, went all at once.
