Great photo Stan what do you do if it rains .

It wont, not in September. We are starting a warming trend to October at least.
September rains in a Mediterranean climate is not impossible..just not likely Penny.
Its a nice site to see this tree growing again. Its about the size a stone fruit tree ( Plum,Apricot) would be after 2 or 3 years. So,its more work to manage these.

Wow! What a fantastic photo! The mango trees are flushing growth, also.

My niece saw it for the first time in weeks..and she was amazed. I think she like most thought that it was never going to look like something. She remembers when it was a stick.

Stan,

It's suppose to get very hot next week for most of California. It will really like the hot weather...since, it's been below normal the last few days.

I went around fertilizing one last time this season. The warm should get one last push out of everybody.
Did I tell you Wiki says the best temperature for Mango tree's is 82f? That's like a San Jose summer..and we get 80%-85% as warm in the peak summer- and one fall- months-ha.

Yes, but the best average low temps is around 70 degrees. Those lows are very important for mango trees...they love heat or warm nights.
