I am not a huge fan of Amarylis but this was a present and it has done very well for me. I have never grown one before and it was so easy! I just wish it had a few leaves!
As you can see, it is another lovely day outside!

How lovely and colourful,Chris..It is so welcoming,and radiates warmth on a wet and miserable day..I haven't grown one of these for a few years ,but I agree,it's nice to have something that's easy to grow ..and quickly !

What a lovely colour on your Amaryllis.
Not keen on them either, although I have masses of baby offshoot bulbs in just 2 colours. I end up tying the leaves to the stem as they flop every where.
