The Evening Sun Seat (Elaeagnus pungens maculata)

The seat faces west to catch the late afternoon and evening sun. Elaeagnus pungent maculata behind on the fence and Clematis viticella Alba has started flowering on the pergola. Verbascum chaixii on the right.

How pretty is that, lovely area Siris. It's good to catch the last of the sun's rays as it sets in the West.
Did you say the yellow flowering one is Hypericum?

Beautiful, my kind of garden Siris which is why I don't bother with the show gardens at shows. They usually have some kind of concrete/metal stuck in there somewhere. I'm a cottage garden person myself.

The seat is actually level, it's me with the camera that's not!

Thank you, ladies, it is really pleasant on a sunny evening, sitting there with a glass of chilled wine, providing the balmy breeze is from the West, to blow away the noise from the motorway. (Breeze from the West, rain to come!)
