I'm only just learning about these. The leaves are lovely but do they both flower? Suppose I should get the gardening book out again and find out for myself:-)

Thanks Irish...can't wait til the cannas bloom... Hi Joannie, the red leaf canna has an orange red flower...the spotted leaves in the foreground are calla lilies and they've finished (flowers are white) and the dark green large leaves in the background are the dwarf red canna...Will post a photo when they blossom...they had a slow start this season.

Thanks for the info Lori. Hopefully we're off to the garden centre tomorrow. I'll see if they've got any there. I'm not supposed to be buying plants now till the dreaded patio is finished but my philosophy is to never say never ;-)
